Hi, I am torn between these two kits

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CEHGOFC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

I know the XSPC one will perform better but I like the bigwater because of its looks and simplicity.
I will only be cooling a cpu and it is currently a 4770k overclocked to 4 ghz. I have an nzxt phantom 410 case. Price isn't that important but I would like to keep it as low as possible.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Thanks,

Read this before you decide the XSPC kit has the reservoir with the pump sealed inside, avoid that pump/reservoir style like the plague! (Do not get the pump sealed inside the reservoir model)

As far as the Thermaltake Big Water there's no way I would buy that, you'd be much better off with a Corsair H100i and I don't normally ever recommend a CLC cooler.

A much better XSPC 240 kit, with a variable speed D5 pump and the Raystorm CPU water block, I personally recommend this kit as it has expandability if you decide to expand it later as the Corsair H100i, does not.

And the Corsair H100i.

Well I already use a corsair h100 and I am not a fan of the aesthetics. So I was looking into the next level of open loops.

I kinda like the pump in resovoir because I really don't know where to mount the resovoir. What would be your suggestion for a decently priced open loop then?

You kinda left out you were already running an H100? :pfff:

I posted an XSPC kit recommendation.

The pump inside the reservoir is bad because if it fails you have to RMA the entire pump/reservoir unit, you cannot remove and replace the pump yourself, so you are completely dead in the water unless you have a backup alternative CPU cooler.

The pump is also a fixed flow rate, so if you need more increased flow rate to cover any flow restrictive add ons, well to bad, so sad.

A variable speed pump is always the better option.
