Hello,
I'm looking to buy a laptop, and i'm not sure which of these 3 are better, or which one is better in what area and it would be great if you could give me opinions and clarify which is a better choice.

1) Samsung S350V5c

I73630QM 2.4ghz up to 3.4ghz, 6mb cache 8gb ddr3 ram, 1TB hdd 7200rpm. Radeon 7670M 2gb dedicated.

2) Samsung 550B-5C
i73630QOM, 2.4ghz up to 3.4ghz 6mb cache. 8gb ram ddr3, 1tb hdd 7200rpm. Nvidia gt 640M.

3) HP pavilion 15-e068
i72632Qm 2.2ghz, 8gb ram, 1tb sata hdd, radeon HD8670M 2gb dedicated.

So basically between 1 and 2 t's the same specifications of these besides the graphics card and also the model is s350V5C and the other is 550B-5c. I cannot find the exact ones on the internet
Is the s350V5C older and not as advanced and the other a newer series 5? I don't see any difference, what is the difference between these 2? Again, which graphics card is the best of the 3 and in which area? Both 1 and 2 have an LED 15.6 screen and 3 has a Brightview 15.6 and I’m wondering which is the best screen too. I'm aware that the processor isn't as good as in 1 and 2 but it consumes less power, is it worth it or the battery life change would be small? In terms of quality, which is better to choose samsung or HP? I don't mind samsung even if HP is a little better, as long as samsung is not terrible. Has anyone tried the battery life extender that comes with samsung, is it any good? I have read something saying that if there are 2 graphics cards ( one intel and the other the dedicated graphics card ) then you have to use a program ( i think AMD catalyst ) and select an .exe application and tell it to use the dedicated graphics card if you want to play a demanding game. Is that only with samsung and how does it work?
I've already asked a lot, I apologise, but would it be possible if someone broke it down for me on what will be better in which areas, and overall what you find is the best of these 3. Don't take price into consideration because it's not an issue between these 3. Thanks so much!

I would rule out the HP (option 3) right off the bat. It isn't a matter of less performance for less power. The i7 on that laptop is now 2 generations old and if anything will consume more power for less performance. Plus, the graphics card on that is really bad.

Between option #1 and option #2, I would go with 2 because the 640M is a bit better than the 7670M. Samsung is also very reputable as a laptop company. Also reguarding the 2 graphics cards and choosing which programs use which, it's not just samsung who does that, nor AMD. Intel and AMD as well as every laptop manufacture does this. (for proof, I am typing on a Lenovo Y570 with an Nvidia 555M and I can choose those settings. For the most part, the program is...

For the most part, the program is pretty good at detecting which programs need a more powerful GPU and applying those settings accordingly but most people will agree that Nvidia has better dual GPU drivers / controls.

So in the end, I reccomend the 2nd option due to the better dual GPU mode and overall better performing graphics card.

Hi thanks a lot for your answer, sorry for taking so long to reply to you. I was able to find a similar samsung but with a Nvidia 650M card and i got that. I am very happy with the laptop, but i am unable to watch videos using windows media player and all the other players using the nvidia card. When i go to the nvidia control panel the option to change from integrated graphics is greyed out and i have tried getting the latest driver and it didn't work so i got the latest update from samsung and it still didn't work. My video quality is bad and very pixelated, no matter what quality the video is. If you could help me i would appreciate it, i will be posting a question just now about this issue.

Some applications can't use the dedicated graphics card. the intel 4000 should have no problem playing back full HD video, so that is a problem that you should be trying to solve. However, I would reccomend starting a new forum post.
