Ok so I am total noob at networking stuff I use mobile hotspot currently as it's my only option. I get 200Down/80Up through USB hotspot. What kind of LTE router/modem do I need to buy to still get good speeds?
I have no idea what the numbers mean on the products, some state max speed LTE 150/50 how can it be so low when I get better results through my phone? Is 10/100 link enough or do I need 10/100/1000? I want router/modem that can utilize my current speeds. I pay for 300/200, but I don't think they'll ever get that high.

Take a look at this page -- https://www.asus.com/event/networks_3G4G_support/ If you can find a USB modem that is compatible, then you can use a standard ASUS router with a modem. That would allow you to use the router in the future if you have a standard ISP.

Does it provide more stable/stronger connection. Because that's why I am looking for router. Preferably connecting it via ethernet cable to my PC.

I have no experience so I can't answer that. If you are just trying to support 1 or 2 devices, you might not get any benefit. Your USB tethering may be as good as a standard ethernet connection. A standard router would allow you to support more devices with both wired and wireless connectivity.

I wish I could get that fast on a LTE connection.....then again it would just hit my monthly bandwidth cap even sooner.

A mobile hotspot is actually a router. I assume your issue is that the hotspot does not have ethernet ?

A actual router with LTE is hard to find. A company called cradlepoint has been making them for years but they tend to be kinda expensive.

The main problem is LTE is not just one thing. Although the signalling is standard the frequencies it operates on varies depending what ISP you use and even what part of the country you live in. This is kinda like cell phones that only work on certain ISP.

In addition some ISP are jerks and will not activate any device they do not have on their list....many even require you to buy the router from them.

A USB dongle that is compatible with a router is your best option. You can get a dongle off the ISP list and then find a router that offers support.

Still if you are getting that good of numbers from a hotspot you may want to just stay with that. If you need ethernet you should be able to use a device called a client-bridge.

Ethernet would be preferred just from router to PC, but I'm looking for more stable connection. I live in Finland so there isn't any data caps and data is really fast up to 300/150 LTE.
I was just thinking of getting router so I get better LTE connection because I don't have cable coming to my house. My phone hotspot provides around 150/50, I was just wondering if I can get faster/ more stable connection with LTE modem/router. And what kind of modem/router would be good option for my speeds.

It really depends whats causing the problems. If the problem is the signal between the cell tower and your house a router is not going to help that much. It would be nice if they made outdoor LTE devices that you could hook to a indoor router but these see to be very rare things.

A router would help is the wifi signal from your phone is not good enough. You could try using it right next to the cell phone and see if it is better. If it is then a router might be better.
