Need Help Choosing Memory to Many Choices

Hi, I'm putting together a new system and it will look like this

Evga nForce 780i SLI 775 A1 Version
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 not sure if I should wait for Penryn or not
2 x EVGA E-GEFORCE 8800GTS Crysis Edition 670MHZ 512MB
RAM - I have no idea there are to many choices.

Basically I want the ablility to overclock at some point and since I'm going SLI do I need speacial SLI memory? Also can I get a good overclock with 6400 or should I go to 8500? And last question does it matter if I buy C4 or C5 memory or are they both about the same performance?

I've been told these are good but not sure what you guys think

Any input on what memory to buy would be very much appreciated.

6400 should be good enough for most gamers. If ya want the bragging rights... get 1800DDR-3. If ya want me to choose of the two. First one.

yea 6400 is good, and "I wish everyone at my high school could be mature enough to talk PC hardware not just gaming" i completely agree with you there itotallybelieveyou, the boneheads who think they know everything and yet they dont know what runs their halo or anything its pathetic

hmm, well for the ram, find a nice c4 @800mhz kit. it should be fine for OCing to your goals. next, why would you waste $ and get the E6850 if your planning on OCing anyway? just get the E6750 or E6550 (or lower..) and it will get you where you want to be..no need in blowing 100$ for absolutely nothing. also, those graphics cards..if you want the new 8800gts over the gt fine. but again, why waste money on "special edition" ones?? just spend 2 minutes and do it yourself on a stock one..otherwise looks like it will be a great system 😉

The reason I chose the 8800GTS is because I can get it for $30 more so I thought why not. On the CPU side good point I might just get the 6750.
