[SOLVED] Need help choosing parts

I was thinking of building a (budget) gaming PC but i'm really at a loss as to which parts to choose, specially GPU, CPU, SSD (v HDD) and the case.
I considered pairing an I3-8100 with an RX 580 8GB but i dont know if i could get a similar (or better) perfomance at around the same (or lower) price point.

Compare that platform with the Ryzen platform using a Ryzen 3 2200G and see if the price comes down. The Intel platform is usally a bit higher than AMD. Be sure to price it with a 450B board (or even a B350) for the ability to OC. If you're not ever planning on OC'ing, you can save a bit more by going to the A320/A420 boards.
