Currently looking to upgrade my 16gb ram to a 32gb, I'm currently using the trident z rgb 16gb 3000mhz 8x2. My system is: ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING i7 8700 16 GB ram @ 3000mhz I've looked into these ram models, both from corsair, specifically the Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32gb (2x16) DDR4 3466 CL16 1.35V and the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2x16) DDR4 3200 CL16. Can't decide between the two, don't know which ones better except the price. But if talking performance wise and not price wise, which are better between the two? I'm currently using XMP on my current ram.

Here are the links for both:

https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-Veng...LQKS/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1

Thanks!

Solution
Theoretically the 3466mhz will be tad better due to faster frequency and similar latency as the 3200mhz, but you wont find much difference between them unless you are doing extreme memory sensitive task, specially on the Intel platform. Intel is not very sensitive to RAM speed on that platform beyond 3200mhz. And there is definitely no point paying so much more for a bit of negligible gain that you wont even probably notice in your day to day usage.
