Right so I have your standard home broadband, router situated in the front room and 1 booster situated in my bedroom.

What I want is a better booster or a good alternative that gives an increased WiFi signal while also having a couple Ethernet ports so I can plug my TV and my Phillips hue hub into it.

My broadband provider is Sky if you need that information.

Do you have ethernet cabling in the house? What about coax?

Powerlines are the solution to this type of issue. I would get the newest standard you can find, typically av2000 or av1200. Depending on how fast your Internet access is, you should get almost all the speed via the powerline units. :)
