[SOLVED] Need help choosing the right equipment

Right so I have your standard home broadband, router situated in the front room and 1 booster situated in my bedroom.

What I want is a better booster or a good alternative that gives an increased WiFi signal while also having a couple Ethernet ports so I can plug my TV and my Phillips hue hub into it.

My broadband provider is Sky if you need that information.

OK, do you know if you have 3 phase power? Some countries, that is common. In the US, it is all single phase power.

What country are you in?

If you have single phase power, then a pair of powerline network adapters are your best choice.
Something like this -- https://www.newegg.com/tp-link-tl-pa8010-kit-up-to-1-2gbps/p/N82E16833704303 but with appropriate plugs for your country.

Powerlines are the solution to this type of issue. I would get the newest standard you can find, typically av2000 or av1200. Depending on how fast your Internet access is, you should get almost all the speed via the powerline units.
