Need help choosing

I will soon be building a system based on the nForce2 chipset. I work mostly in office suites and other non 3D applications. I do occasional 3D CAD but games are *very* rare. I am willing to pay for speed but not for all of the 3D effects for games.

What are the recommendations?

Matrox 450/550
Matrox Parhelia
Radeon ?????
GeForce ?????

i believe the nVidia Quadro4 is a good card for 3D CAD
