need help computer boots on for few minutes then go to no signal mode

i just purchased a brand new mobo cpu and ram installed everything correctly it worked for 30 mins then went straight into no signal mode please helpppp

Have you tried turning off the power saving mode so it doesn't go to 'sleep'?

yeah ive turned everything in power saving mode to never, that was before now it will go to post like 3 out of 5 times if i remove the battery then it will go to post, the only thing is power button on my case doesnt work at all wen it goes to no signal mode

Okay so the PC isn't turning the monitor off. It is actually shutting itself down or locking up...

How about running some software to monitor CPU, HDD, GPU temperatures? HWMonitor can do this all for you.

Since the PC could stop working at any time, you should watch the counters and post the initial temperatures and the last recorded temps.

Maybe your PC is shutting itself down to avoid overheating.

Also- can you post the specs for the PC? Are you overclocking any hardware?

Reset the CMOS.
Disconnect power to the computer. Once the cable is removed hold the power button for 1 full minute. Then let go.
Connect the power cable and try to reset CMOS and boot.

What was the CPU temp when you checked it?

yeah ive tried that too it was 46 degree do you think it can be the mobo cuz i know its the not the graphic card cuz i was just using it in my old comp like a week ago i took it the the only shop in my area and they tried to charge me $85 an hour and its gonna take about 4 hours..

Yes, I think it is possible that it could be the motherboard.

If it doesn't power on at all, most likely the motherboard.

Even if the GPU was bad, the MB should still power on... Same thing if you have a bad CPU. The MB will power on, but you won't POST or see anything on screen.

it turns on fans and everything running like if i try to turn it on the first time the fans and mobo have green light but no beep then i unplug the power cord plug it bak in and turn it on and it will beep and turn on and display post screen then it would jus go to no signal

How about completely removing the GPU from the system. Does this help at all?

nope ive tried using onboard graphic too same thing

That only leaves the MB, CPU, or RAM.

If you have more than 1 stick of ram, only install one and then test. If it fails, remove the ram and install the other stick and test again.

I'd use different RAM slots during testing too...

If it still happens, then you can assume the RAM is either good, or multiple sticks are bad.

If you know the RAM is good, then that leaves CPU and MB.

If the CPU wasn't over heating earlier, you can assume it is the motherboard.

That is how I'd test.

i knw its not the cpu i feel like its the mobo but anyway thanks for your help i will try it out again when i get home and post update

I agree it is probably the motherboard, however, if it isn't you'll just waste time getting a new one only to face the same problem.

update got it to boot upon installin a new os it did the same thing after 10 mins going to no signal mode

It doesn't sound like a Windows problem. It sounds like a hardware problem. Are you going to RMA the motherboard?

im using the onboard right now ive removed the gpu out of the mobo and so far its still on and installin os right now we shall see if its stay on

lol nvm it got further then the gpu did it got to the finishing installation screen then went to no signal mode
