I bought an Asus computer a couple of years ago and for the past few months I've been upgrading it. Today I received a new motherboard and I need some help because this http://i.imgur.com/LBa6EmW.jpg is the connector from the case and this http://i.imgur.com/cpO5VkR.jpg is the motherboard. What would be the best way to connect it? I was thinking that I could just rewire the connector and cut the plastic to fit the motherboard but I wasn't able to find which cable does what for this computer.

Which motherboard and which case do you have?
Looking at the 2nd image, it may be a USB3.0 connector that your motherboard does not support.

Most of the time, the cables are labeled in small font. You may be able to find a manual on the case manufacturer's website.
