I’m in the process of upgrading my power supply for my new video card. The power supply is a Corsair RM750. I’m not certain how to connect the power to the three 8-pin connectors on the 3080. Please see the photo below. I have qty 3 of the cable on the right. I have one of the cave on the left. Notice the cable on the left has all eight pins in tact while the cable on the right as an empty spot. I’m assuming that since I have three of the cables on the right that it’s OK to use those for the video card but I wanted to know if I should or need to incorporate the cable on the left which has eight pins. Please help if you have any clue at all what I’m talking about

You can also look at the cables themselves, on the ends. Somewhere, it will say what the cable is for. PCIe is for the GPU, and CPU is for the CPU, and they are not interchangeable. The ends of the cables that can be separated are for the component side, the solid block that cannot be separated plugs into the PSU Brick
