Hey just need some help choosing a new CPU heatsink the stock cooler is garbage lol. I'm running a stock cooler on my Q6600 G0 and thats holding me back from achieving a higher overclock. I can achieve a min of 3.0GHz on stock but have to keep an eye on my temp. But want to achieve 3.2 to 3.5GHz overclock and stock is a no go. So i need a new cooler. Ive read a ton of threads and review about different coolers for about a month now and i cant decide. But there is a lot of good one out there that i like. I just need one that achieve that overclock. Kinda wish i could get more then one but just need one good one. What do you guys think. The ones that interested me are lol:

Thermalright ULTRA-120 Extreme
Thermaltake maxorb
Thermaltake V1
Zalman CNPS9500
Zalman CNPS9700
Coolermaster GeminII
Coolermaster Sphere
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
Noctua NH-U12P
Scythe Mine REV.B
Scythe Ninja Plus REV.B
Sunbeam Tuniq Tower 120

Thanks in advance

If you have extra $$$ the TR Ultra-120 extreme is the best, but you have to get a good fan to go with it as well. The Tuniq Tower 120 would take 2d place and for a nice bang for your buck while still doing a nice job would be the AC freezer 7 Pro. Personally I'm cheap and I would get the AC 7 Pro, it comes with the fan, EASY to install, and although it may not keep as cool as the 120 extreme, who cares if you load temps or 5-10C higher, because it's going to keep it under 60's anyways which is the goal. In reality I believe the core voltage will be your limiting factor even with the AC 7 Pro.

ok cool thanks a lot, ive been told that the ultra 120 extreme will need to be lapped out of the box. I really don't want to lap anything. And the tuniq tower is ready to go right out of the box. It also comes with everything you need, fan, paste, fan control and the heatsink. But I really don't know if the tuniq tower will fit my case coolermaster cm690 and my motherboard gigabyte p35 ds4 curently have stock heatsink with two 120mm side case fans. Maybe I'll have to get rid of one from the side for the tuniq to fit and I really don't know if the motherboards heatpipe system is in the way and my geforce 8800gts thanks
