Need Help Deciding Between 3 Monitors (LG, Acer, Asus)

Hi, I'm looking to FINALLY upgrade to a HD monitor, and I'm torn between these 3.

I mostly use my PC for gaming (MMORPGs, high-end action games like Witcher and Wolfenstein) and watching movies/shows. I'm not much of a competitive FPSer, so I'm not entirely fussed about getting that 1ms response time or whatever - but I also want to keep that potential ghosting to a minimum, and I'm hoping 5ms will be more than serviceable.

Anyway, I'm tossing up between:

Asus - VS247HR - 23.6" LED Monitor ($188)
http://

Acer - G246HL - 24" LCD Monitor ($179)
http://

LG - 24MP55VQ - 24" IPS Monitor ($169)
http://

I was also looking at a BenQ 24" gaming monitor (1ms response time) priced at $199, however it's sold out and no store seems to have any idea of when they're getting more stock.

Could anyone recommend the above three? Any first-hand experience, or just general knowledge of the product/brand/design?

Thank you in advance!

The IPS monitor is in a league of it's own.

(The following is quoted directly from Wikipedia about IPS Panels)
Advantages
IPS panels display consistent, accurate color from all viewing angles A state-of-the-art (2014) comparison of IPS vs. TN panels concerning color consistency under different viewing angles can be seen on the website of Japan Display Inc.
Unlike TN LCDs, IPS panels do not lighten or show tailing when touched. This is important for touch-screen devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
IPS panels can process high speed signals without data loss by using copper wiring with low resistance values.
IPS panels offer clear images and stable response time.

In other words...
I'd buy the IPS display if I was you.

The only issues I have with the LG IPS panel is that there seems to be no reviews for it online, and this:

Response Time (ms): 5ms (Typical)

Leads me to believe that's G2G, and the response time will actually be something like 12-14ms instead.

Maybe I'm just over-thinking it, I dunno.

That's a shame. I guess the Acer would be more ideal then, since it seems to run at a flat 5ms with no indication of G2G (although I suppose it's hard to trust any marketing with monitors).
