Hey guys I’m one of those weirdos still playing on a PS3. I’m ready to make the leap to next gen, and I really want to do it on a gaming PC. But I’m afraid of buying a PC for twice or more the price of the PS4 getting it home hooking it up only to find out it can’t run games as well as the PS4! I have my eye on two builds in particular and any advice would be awesome!

First is Digital Storm Vanquish 3 Level 1
Main specs
GPU NVIDIA GTX 960 2GB
CPU Intel Core i3 4370 CPU
RAM 8GB 1600MHz
1TB 7200RPM HDD

The second is the Syber Vapor which you can fully customize on CyberPowerPC’s website before ordering. My questions about this PC are:
Are any of these processors competent for running games on high 1080
Athlon X4 740
Athlon X4 840
Intel® Pentium™ Anniversary Edition G3258
And will a GTX 960 2GB matched with these CPU be enough to beat PS4 or do I have to go to a GTX970 or what cards from AMD would work?
Thx for any help!!
P.S.
I know I might get advice to build my own pc or step up to Vanquish level 3 which is over $1200 Please keep in mind that I am a PC gaming newb and don’t want to build a PC or spend exorbitantly more then I would for a counsel thx!

How much will those PCs cost you?
I know you won't want to hear this but I can;t recommend building your own PC enough. You'll save literally hundreds of dollars, and it is so much easier than you'd think, even for a noob :)

^ whs - those 2 preuilds are just about going to match a ps4 but hardly whoop its ass.

You do not get value for money with systems like that.
That digital storm is $800???

For that money you can do this.

Thx guys for your answers! Let me refine the question a little. Will the GTX960 card outperform the PS4 or do I have to go up to the GTX970? Or what about a R9 290 and 290X will I be safe with those cards? Thx for any help!
