Need help deciding between two monitors

Hi everyone,

I'm in the market for a new monitor, and I found two with a built in TV tuner just like I need, but I can't decide between them.

One is the Samsung 2333HD

And the other is the LG M237WD-PM

From what I can tell, they're very similar (they may even be the same thing), but I just thought I should get some opinions first. I'm leaning towards the LG due to the longer warranty and additional Red/White/Yellow input. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I'd go with the LG. It's a little more power efficient, and has a wider viewing range. Other than that, they are very similar.

I would say the same thing as aford10, then lg has 30,000:1 ratio and then samsung has a 10,000:1 ratio.

The LG is 20,000:1, not 30,000:1.

Look at static contrast ratio which is generally 700:1 to 1000:1.
