Planned CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k
Planned CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard: unknown, suggestions?
Planned RAM: G.Skill Rip Jaws X Series 8 GB 2x4
HDD: Western Digital 1 TB Caviar Blue 7200 RPM
GPU: ? We were thinking of getting the R9 270x
Case: ? Suggestions please
PSU: Haven't decided yet due to not knowing what GPU we want
Ok so first of all thank you for clicking on this post! .
I will begin by saying what my friend intends to do with this computer
1. BF4
2. Youtube
3. Minecraft
4. LoL
5. and many more steam games such as Total War Rome 2.
We wanted the best bang for buck and still get some nice graphics for BF4 ( high - ultra settings at 60 FPS would be nice!
My friend does not want to overclock. The only reason we want the k version of the Intel core i5 3570 is because there is a sale on Newegg, and it also comes with a free game where-as the 3570 non-k version doesn't.
Any help would be appreciated!
EDIT: we forgot about the OS, which will cost 100 bucks, so we have to cut down the hardware-side budget to 700 dollars, thanks for the recommendations so far!
Total budget for the OS + Hardware is $800
