Which laptop is better?

HP 15-au018wm or DELL i5565-A000GRY

The HP is
intel i7 6500U dual core
12Gb ram
GeForce 940MX 2GB DDR3

DELL is
AMD A12 9700P Quad core
12GB ram
Radeon R7 M445 4GB GDDR5

I’ll use for gaming mostly and some business.

HP model is far more powerful that dell. Do you have other choice? Although the HP's specification is better but it is a little bit out of date. Maybe you should reconsider the model.

I have the HP model right now but it is defective and has been sent in for “repairs” FOUR times. Now HP says they will replace it but they will only give me $500 to spend on a laptop I can find anywhere and they’ll reimburse me up to $500. Or have them build the same as the HP model above custom and would take 3-4 weeks. I just can’t find any laptops for $500 that have roughly the same specs as the HP model.
