Need help deciding on upgrades

I I want to gear up for some anticipated games that are coming out soon (Red Orchestra 2, and Skyrim)
and I think it is about time to upgrade my pc. My budget is around $200-ish maybee a little more. I basically just want to be able to boost my performance for incoming games here are my current specifications.

Athlon II x4 640 quad core processor
EVGA factory overclocked gts 450
ASRock M3A770DE AM3
Antec NEO ECO 620C 620W Continuous Power
G.SKILL NS 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333

Upgrading the GPU to HD6870 or GTX560 would help, then overclock the CPU a little.

what graphics card should I buy, because I had a bad experience with a faulty saphirre radeon hd 6770, but ive never had a problem with a Nvidia product
