Need Help deciding which memory

Hi...i will be building a new computer within a next 2 weeks, and i am having some trouble deciding what ram i want to use. i have it down to 2.

1. Crucial Ballistix 2x1gb ddr2 800

2. OCZ Reaper 2x1gb ddr2 800

those are the 2 i am looking at right now. Just wanted to see what kind of experiences everyone has had with these 2 types of memory.

Also i am going to be throwing the memory on an Abit p35 pro, so also any compatability issues would be also appreciated if any.


Also feel free to throw in your 2 cents on a good ram. I will be using it for Gaming and want to overclock and i kinda wanna keep the ram around or under $100 if possible.

Ballistix gets my vote. up to 11xxMhz for me. Might go higher on s775.

Both are good , get the one which has lower timings

2gb of Either Ballistix 6400 or Reaper 6400
2 Raptor x 150gb hd's
Evga 8800GT Ssc edition
Corsair 620w PSU (maybe)
Thermalright Ultima 90 Heatsink w/fan
