Hello,
I hope someone can help me here. I'm trying to free up space on my 60Gb SSD and I read somewhere I could gain a heap more space by deleting the old WindowsUpdate files in the "C/Windows/winsxs" folder. Mine held 14.4 Gbs of downloaded updates.
As suggested on the web, I ran the Windows Disk Cleanup Wizard and selected "Windows Update Cleanup" but it only found 3Gbs of files to clean. Now after running this cleanup my "C/Windows/winsxs" folder still holds over 65,275 files totalling 11Gbs of space!
Is my Disk Cleanup Wizard not doing it's job properly? Or is there some other way of reclaiming space from this folder?
Thanks.
