Need help determining PSU

I just purchased an RX 590 and have heard it can be power hungry and was wondering what power supply ill need for it.

Will my corsair 550w be enough to support it?

The most you would see with your system is around 450W, probably less. Typical gaming load would be less. You could use it, but I would plan to upgrade with more wattage and higher quality.

There isn't a lot information on the RX-590 GPU. I did find a system requirement of 500 watts on the XFX RX-590. It also requires a 6 - pin and 8 - pin PCIE power cable.

So from that standpoint, your 550 Watt power supply is about right.
