Need help/feedback on build

New to PC gaming and need feedback on my first build.

CPU: AMD FX 8350
GPU: 7870 LE XT MYST edition (older GPU)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance (2×4 gb) DDR3 240 pin
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0
Power supply: EVGA 600w B 80 plus BRONZE
Storage: WD blue 1tb HDD

Build would be mainly for gaming, I don't plan on streaming or recording game play. I hope to play games at medium-high settings. Thanks!!

Hard to evaluate when you don't say what it will cost you or what your max budget is. The only way we can really advise such things is if we know if there's better ways you can be spending your money, and without knowing what the build in question costs or what your budget is, that's impossible.

The proper way to ask such advice is to itemize your build list with the price of each part, and we'll take it from there. You should also mention what country you're in so we know what currency, pricing and availability you're dealing with.
