So my PC is ~ 2 years old. Recently whenever I play a video game, my monitor turns black, the fans make a lot of noise but I can still hear the audio. I have to force shut down my pc everytime to fix this issue. I've checked the event viewer and found this warning amongst other DistributedCOM warnings:

Log Name: System
Source: Display
Date: 5/13/2023 9:43:48 PM
Event ID: 4101
Task Category: None
Level: Warning
Keywords: Classic
User: N/A
Computer: DESKTOP-GFGDDC0
Description:
Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

I assumed it was an Nvidia driver issue, so I used DDU and performed a clean install, which did not help.
I had the same issue today except when I force restarted my PC i got this notification on boot:

I then checked my CPU temps while gaming using HWinfo and theyre ~80c and idle temp is ~55c. Is my CPU overheating? If so why did the display driver warning show up on the event viewer.
