I am using Logitech Z625 speakers plugged directly into my PC. I have dual monitors and have my nintendo switch hooked up to my main monitor as well. I want to listen to a podcast and play my switch at the same time but I can't get the audio figured out. When I switch from DP to HDMI while my speakers are plugged into my PC I have PC audio but no switch audio. If I plug the speakers directly into my monitor I have switch audio but no PC audio. Any way to get both my PC audio and Switch audio to output at the same time?

Solution
Technically it should work when you are plugged into the monitor and just make sure the PC has the audio out under your monitor / gpu audio in the windows sound settings and make default as shown here

alternatively if that is not working, a switch box with 2 x 3.5mm audio M-M extensions like this would work nicely

and just plug the speakers in to the 3-n-1 out and one source from your PC, and the other to your monitor, should also be good to go
