Hi all, I need some help figuring out what PC case I have, this is a VERY old pc with very old components, im trying to figure out if this case can hold a micro ATX cause it would save me money when upgrading but I dont wanna mess with the inside of the PC and taking the current motherboard out to see if it has existing screws for a mATX cause I am very bad with these things and im not sure if I would be able to plug everything back in. Current motherboard is GA-EP43-S3L

It looks like an old Alienware case but I don't know. The two badges up front are both from Gigabyte The third sticker appears to be a Harry Lad(never heard the name before) design. https://www.redbubble.com/people/harrino/works/29150111-razer-sticker-blue?p=sticker. The motherboard itself is 12" x 8.2". That looks to be a atx motherboard. Some mid-atx cases are 12 x 9 or 9.6". It can easily accept a micro-atx board. It isn't a proprietary design but to say 100% that the screw points will line up isn't something I will do. Motherboard risers(they are what the screws are fixed to) are usually sometimes moveable as well. The micro-atx case will fit but I don't know its current configuration.Riser placement is fairly universal with custom cases such as the one you posted. I would make the leap.

Your MB, not full width ATX, Gigabyte GA-EP43-S3L:

Newer not full width ATX representative, ASROCK H170 Pro4 :

Full width mATX representative, ASROCK B150M Pro4 Hyper :

Full width ATX board will have the 3rd column of screw holes like the B150M Pro4 Hyper, but the 3rd row further south like in the H170 Pro4.

Without actually seeing the inside of the case and its standoffs, we can only suggest you to find MB with screw holes in similar location to your current MB; that is not full width ATX MB, because we cannot know if there are actually hole/s to put standoff to support mATX beneath the current MB or not.

Yeah I saw it, thankyou for the name, just wanted to make sure on another post once I knew the case name..does that mean any mATX tho? with any dimensions? I was thinking of buying ASRock A320M-DGS, AM4, would that fit?

Well when its straight from the horse's mouth it's hard to argue but i still question this person replying to you their accuracy, they're just an employee after all. This product is no longer on their site and wonder if this person bothered to look in archives on their computer. Better to say it doesn't then say it does and it doesn't work i guess, it is an old case.

Everywhere else you go the specs say the same thing.

Email them the link to the online manual and would like an explanation.
