Need help finding a compatible graphics card to my desktop pc

I'm pretty new to graphics cards and all that, so I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out if this graphics card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130827) is compatible with my desktop (http://us.gateway.com/gw/en/US/content/model/DT.GERAA.001). The site shows the size of my case and all the pci express slots and psu. Just I have no idea how to figure out if this card would be able to fit/run with my desktop. If this isn't compatible, could anyone give me any recommendations to a decent graphics card that could run some of the newer games coming out or are out already (i.e Destiny, Watchdogs, Battlefield 4.) Any help would be much appreciated

That card will not work with your system. Your computer has a 300W power supply max, and this card will certainly put your system over 300W. This card also requires a 12v 6-pin rail which your PSU does not have.
In addition this card will take up two PCI slots, the PCIEx16 slot and the space below it where the heatsink will be, as it is a double-wide card. It will fit, but make sure you don't have to remove anything else in it's way first.

It seems like you want this card for running high-end games.
The first component you might look into replacing is the Power Supply Unit to a minimum 600W for newer high-end graphics cards. Other than that you can try a low power GPU like the GTS 220. They won't be outstanding in the graphics department, but I'm sure you can get by on it.
Everything checks out except for the power supply, but I'd crack open your case and make sure you can fit the card physically in the PCIEx16 slot.

Shame on that other guy for saying it will work without looking at your specs first. I see he has withdrawn his comment...

Okay thanks alot Benevolence, and can I just ask a few more things if you could. Could you recommend any rather cheap psu's that fit the description that you described like 600w and having a 12v 6-pin rail. Thanks again~

SeaSonic is the favorite among the techies here, but there is a price premium. I'll give you some options.

Upgrade the PSU and you can run that card. However the card will be bottlenecked by anything less than a quad-core CPU, so going with a 640 might be the better option.
