I had hoped the fans I had lying around would have worked, but there's parts blocking the screws from going into the motherboard I just bought.
The motherboard is the Asus B85M-G. I'm looking for a cpu fan. I have the processor already, an i7-4790.

Here's a link to the motherboard:

Edit:
I found an Intel E97378-001 12vdc lying around that fit, but not sure that's good enough.
Might just be tired too cause the computer won't turn on. Have something not hooked up right.

My wife is running the i7-4790k in her computer (same CPU you have, but clocked slightly higher). I use the stock Intel cooler (I'm pretty sure it's the E97378-001) in her rig. The cooler does just fine for how she uses the computer (work, email, web 20-30 tabs open). Now, if you wanted to overclock or do CPU intensive gaming ... I would probably look for something better ... if not, it will work great.
