So i want to get a computer that is under 600 dollars and can run fortnite at good settings, along with gta v, overwatch, and good for video editing in Sony Vegas Pro 13. I’m on a tough budget and i’m getting a pc for my birthday which is July 27. I also want to be able to record and sometimes stream fortnite and stuff like that.

Here are the specs at the computer i am thinking of getting

Processor: AMD FX-6300 3.5 GHz (not to sure about how many cores, it doesn’t specify)
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon RX 560 (Dedicated) (2 GB)
RAM: 8 GB (DDR3 SDRAM)

If you want to find the exact computer, here’s the name: CyberPowerPC Gamer Ultra GUA1600BST

Getting it off Best Buy for about 580 dollars.

Solution
This would run circles around that old FX rig, though saving up for something better would be a good idea.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor ($149.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock - AB350M Pro4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($74.49 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Patriot - Viper 4 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($79.99 @ Newegg Business)
Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($37.09 @ Newegg Marketplace)
Video Card: Zotac - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Mini Video Card ($169.99 @ B&H)
Case: Rosewill - FBM-X1 MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($26.99 @ Amazon)...
Erm, that's one way to put it. But generally, I would highly recommend waiting a little bit longer/saving up a bit more money. The FX series is not worth investing money in. If you ABSOLUTELY need to have the pc immediately, I hesitate to do this, but I'd recommend buying used. I found an i5 6600k (still a strong processor) with a Z170 board for $200. Do mind that if you need to buy the OS, you'd probably have to shop for a used GPU as well, which I WOULD NOT recommend, as plenty of people sell low quality units that were used in mining rigs.

TL;DR
Wait and save up a bit more money, or build it yourself using used components.

That's definitely a solid build for $600, but as logain said, if you saved up a little then you could get A LOT more. For example, an extra $250 could net you a MUCH stronger GTX 1060 6 GB card, an SSD which would make your system run WAY faster, and a higher quality case/PSU. Do note, the prices he specced are WITHOUT windows, which adds another ~$90 to the cost.
