Need help finding good high capacity Harddrive

So I have a 2tb Harddrive thats about 3 years old and I'm pretty sure its dying. I have a second Harddrive I got as extra storage but they're both full and I want to get a new Harddrive but not as extra storage but a replacement for my first dying Harddrive that has my Windows 10. So I want a Harddrive that can take my 2tb of storage but also give me extra storage space. I'm asking for help because I had a friend who got a high storage Harddrive but it was unusable slow, I want to find a high storage that won't give me problems of being slow. I would prefer to get a 5 6tb Harddrive but I don't know how slow they are.
