Hello friends! I'm currently building my gaming PC and need to find out what my wattage is so I can actually pick my power supply, but I have no idea how to go about this. If you wish I can list the components but I would rather have the process explained to me so I know for later. Thanks guys!

Solution

A 500 Watt psu is recommended. I would go with a 600 Watt Psu to...
At this moment in time I do not plan to overclock but I might. So leave it at "no" for now I can always buy a new one. Here are the parts:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core
Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 93.3 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing
MotherBoard: Asus Maximus VI Formula ATX LGA1150
Memory: G.Skill Trident X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-2400
HDD: Western Digital Re 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB FTW ACX 2.0
Am I missing anything important? ( I should probably know that because it's my build but I'm a noob at this"

Also, How do you install an OS without an optical drive. Because my case does not allow an optical drive to be installed. ._.

A 500 Watt psu is recommended. I would go with a 600 Watt Psu to allow for overclocking.
