Question Need help finding out why PC is stuttering

While I'm playing my PC is stuttering my sound shuts off and the screen freezes for a second or two. Seems like my cpu is throttling. I changed my cooler it helped with temperatures but still throttles.. Tried with one stick of ram seems it fixed it tried the other one and it's throttling again but checking ram individually trough occt, linx and memtest didn't yield any errors..
What else should I try?

You can't be sure it's your CPU.

Download HWINFO 64 and run it in SENSOR ONLY mode. Then play a game, and look into HWINFO history to see if the fields:

IA PROCHOT
IA THERMAL EVENT
VR THERMAL ALERT

and
CORE0, CORE 1, CORE 2, CORE 3, CORE 4 THERMAL THROTTLING

are marked as YES.

Otherwise we are just fooling each other and wasting time.
