Need help fine tuning/tweaking my pc

This is my first time assembling a custom pc and i have no idea where to start. Any tips on how to get the most out of my system would be greatly appreciated. What kind of stress would my build be under in order to oc to 4.0? Links to guides specifying my components would be awesome.

Lok sorry i forgot to paste my build and it would be for gaming

Set your multiplier to 40 and leave everything else on auto, instant 4.0ghz without any effort. Honestly, all the k series i5 and i7's can hit 4.0ghz without a struggle with that cooler. The exception probably being the high dollar 6 core models.

^Exactly. 4.2GHz with minimal VCore enhancement. Hope you've disabled LLC.
