Hi friends! I'm currently on the tail end on getting the parts for my new build. I just need help with ch-oosing the right ram and SSD now.
So The parts I have on the way already
PSU: Corsair TX750M 2017
CPU: AMD R7 1700
MOBO: Asrock Taichi
I'm pretty sold on the Gskill 3200 Trident Z RGB I'm just curious if CL14 is worth the extra $40 then CL16 when it comes to Ryzen. I know usually it's not worth it, but I hear different things about Ryzen and memory. I'm willing to spend if the performance is there. but I don't want to waste money either.
About the SSD I was curious if I should get something like a 250gb WD black NVME and use that as a boot drive, or just get a 2.5 Samsung 850 evo. I've never used M.2 so I'm not sure if it's a hassle or not, but if performance is there, and I can actually get windows installed and use that as my only drive for a bit, I'll do it.
I just want the best I can get right now for work and gaming, without wasting money on little gain.
Thanks for the help in advance!
