As said this is my first build and I will like to have some help of people who are experienced with the components I'm going to show. Or if you know anything about them, not the basics Ive read a lot as well, but nothing beats actual experience.

First of all bit on a dilemma here, between the i5 or the fx 8350. I plan on mainly gaming, not really editing or streaming. Any other recommendation will be great. Budget 200 bucks. Intel core i5 4590.

Another dilemma, I saw this mobo MSI B85-G43 GAMING ATX LGA1150 Motherboard, I think it looks cool, but anyone who would recommend any other, I don't plan on overclocking so what are your thoughts, budget 90.

I'm still trying to choose between the r9 390. There is a little bit of a confusion because there are so many cards, sapphire, asus, msi, xfx. So any recommendations will be appreciated. Also I was choosing between this and the gtx 970, but since dx12 is becoming more of a thing, a future-proof card will be the best choice. (also, no plan on buying a water cooler just yet, will the fans suffice or should buy some extra ones for the r9 390.)

the case will be s340, normal G.skill ripjaws 8gb ram, seagate barracuda hdd 1tb and EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply. If you have any other recommendations or suggestions I will gladly read them. Im kind of a budget here so please be wary of that, not recommending an asus maximus or 980 tis, or something like that.

No problem at all,

The XFX I listed has a $35 rebate on Newegg, so not a straight discount but $40 total cost after you get the money back.

Between the two I would personally recommend the ASRock motherboard I listed, MSI is known to have unreliable quaitly control on their motherboards.

1) The i5 is a much stronger choice, definitley stick with the i5

2) Here's a better PSU choice, you don't need 750w for that build and this 650w Gold is an exteremely good unit on sale right now for less than your current 750:

Power Supply: XFX TS 650W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply ($39.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $39.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

3) With the mony from the PSU switch you could afford a slightly better motherboard. This might not look as good, but it's a better choice for reliability:

Motherboard: ASRock H97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($83.89 @ OutletPC)
Total: $83.89
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

4) The R9 390 is a very good card and well paired with the i5 CPU. Asus makes good GPU's, so if you can get one with a rebate like what you've chosen that's just fine.

Thanks for the recommendation of the cpu and gpu. I was checking a webiste called http://www.pc-specs.com/mobo/comparison-versus/3013/2270/asrock-h97-pro4-vs-msi-b85-g43-gaming, well there it gives and 8.4 to the msi and 8.3 to the h97. I just read that h97 supports 5th generation chipsets, but the b85 supports crossfire. So back to square one haha, I might upgrade the cpu in the near future, but maybe Ill try skylake instead of haswell or zen which is on the road.
Also the psu gives me a price of 75.99, maybe the offer was special to you, but in my case it showed as an 74.99 psu. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1650gts3x
Thanks for your answer, so what should i do stick with the b85, or go to the h97. Also thanks for the recommendation of 650 w. there are some cheaper ones and I can save some money there.

Thank you very much for your support I will follow your recommendations. The only thing is Ive read the asus 390 has some problems with the cooling system, so the best options are msi or sapphire.

thats the updated build, I went with that mobo, I know z97 is for oc, but maybe in the future Ill change to a k version, idk yet, because all the h87 are around the same price and well I cant put a k core there. So what are your thoughts on that, also the psu do you think is a reliable one or should i go with the xfx?
