Recently I bought an HP oem ANAKIN 1080 off of ebay described having been crashing on 3d mode on Linux and/or whenever the non-basic drivers are installed on Windows 10. When I tried to test the GPU Windows didn't detect it, not even in gpu-z. I then did a CMOS on my motherboard, and it did boot into Windows but only through HDMI I then decided to say 'Screw it' and attempted to install the official NVIDIA drivers for a gtx 1080. Before I even downloaded the drivers I might've done something I bit stupid, I switched what monitor I was using, and I'm not sure if this was a coincidence but as soon as I connected my other monitor to the GPU through the HDMI slot I got a BSOD that said nvlddmkm.sys failed. I could no longer boot into windows on that drive until I switched to another GPU. I'm wondering if anybody has an idea on what's wrong with this graphics card?
