The screen on our cutting machine, BAUMCUT 31.5, was broken so we got a replacement.
Upon connecting it, all we get is a big white screen over the blue screen (it's suppose to be a blue screen with white being the letters, numbers, lines, etc.). The machine works, the buttons are clicking and working, but we just can't see anything on the screen. Was wondering if there's something plugged wrong on the motherboard or something is broken.

Here are some pictures showing the screen and how everything is plugged in/looks: http://imgur.com/a/y33yd

Also what does the small button on the motherboard do?

Decided to ask around here since this is a display only problem we're having and people may have some insight on it.

Depending on what version of windows you are running 7,8.1 or windows 10.

Power your system up.

And keep pressing the F8 key on your keyboard.

You should get to the windows Os booting menu.

Select the safe mode of windows option for loading.

Let windows reach the login screen or get to windows desktop mode.

Right click on the windows desktop.
And select the screen resolution for the desktop to 800x 600 or 1024 x 768.

Shut down and restart your system after making the screen resolution change.
And let windows load in normal mode.

If it fails to give you a login screen or reach the windows desktop.
Follow the instructions again to load windows into safe mode.

Only this time from windows control panel or in the start search bar type restore and backup.
Open up system restore and the backup points in windows.
Selecting the second from last backup restore point made.
And click restore.

Let the restore process Finnish of windows, and the system should restart once done.
It should then bring back the windows desktop so it can be seen on the new monitor screen.

Please make sure you have not crossed over a Analogue vga signal over to a digital one of the monitor input or it will be the reason as to why you are not getting a display signal from the system to the monitor.

I will also ask you what type of monitor output from the video cards output ports you are using and the input to the monitor in question.

For the graphics card Is It

1. A Vga 15 pin
2. A Dvi connection
3. A hdmi connection.
4 Or a display port connection.

Into the monitor ? what type of video input connection. ?
