Thank you to anyone reading this, so I have a newly built PC, and I got a SSD for my OS, Games and programs. And a HDD for everything else. So I installed operating system on the SSD, but everything would I download or save would stay on the SSD. So I looked into how to make everything from here on out save onto my Hard Drive, and saw that if I went to storage settings I could chose what saved to each drive. I did that and the new things I downloaded or created still saved under the SSD. So I looked into another option and that was to go to properties, Location, then move. So I moved my downloads, pictures, videos, and documents. It asked to move them, then if I wanted to redirect everything to them, and copy the folder from SSD to HDD. And I did that. So everything was moved but my folders are messed up. Instead of "downloads" or "videos" it just says D:\ next to all of them, and when I click on it, it doesn't show the right content. Like let's say I click videos, it won't show videos, it is just a bunch on random items. And it does that for everything I moved. I know what I said is a lot and might not be the easiest thing to follow along with. I will include a YouTube video or link I made just for this thread. Sorry if it is blurry just made a quick one with my phone for this. Thank you for your time. https://youtu.be/2MR-KsP7kRQ

You have to make separate folders on D: drive for downloads, pictures, videos, and documents.
Then sort out your files and move them from D: to appropriate folders.
Only after that change properties/locations of your libraries ( when you're asked to move files also, respond - "no").

Is there anyway I can reset my files to how they were before all this?

Yeah sadly I didn't do that. So I'm not that good with these kind of things, and I guess ultimately I need to know what do to make my files go back to normal? I can't change the name of them, they have the doument, picture, download etc symbols next to them, they all say D:/ under every file and none of them are what they are supposed to be. When I download something it doesn't go to download. Wish there was a better way for me to describe the situation. Thank you again
