Hello!

My sister is in Orlando until July 23, and i gave her some money to buy computer parts for me there because it is cheaper :) (I'm from Brasil).

Due the lack of space i wont ask for a case, i will buy it here, so my budget is for processor, video card, ram, motherboard and psu, i won't buy an HD too.

I already had built something, but i spent the day looking this site and forum and i found my build hasty, then i decided to ask help for you guys.

I want to play games like bf3 in highest quality possible with this budget :D

Approximate Purchase Date: max July 21

Budget Range: 899 max

System Usage: gaming

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: No

Location: Orlando (where my sister will buy the components)

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe, i could buy another card for SLI or Crossfire when it get cheaper here, but it want to buy the better video card possible now.

Your Monitor Resolution: i'm actually thinking about using a TV LCD 21" FullHD as monitor, i dont have much space left in my desk for another screen :na:

Additional Comments: I'm thinking about buying an SSD of 64Gb for OS stuffs and heavy games.

Thank you guys, i'm waiting for answers :)

I had chosen in my previous build:

CPU: i5 3750k
RAM :Vengeance 2-Pack 4GB DDR3 DIMM
MOBO: Asus P8H77-M PRO (but i think that with this mobo i couldn't do SLI/Crossfire)
Video Card: GTX 560 Ti 448
+SSD +psu(500W)
it cost around 830 dollars

Then i noticed that with this video card would be hard to make an SLI if i wanted to in the future, and was thinking about getting 7850... but i really not sure what to do, if i get a 7850 and change the mobo or if i change the processor to get a 7870 or change the processor and take out the SSD to get a GTX 670 or a 7950 :s

get the gtx 670 it is better than the 7970 and why did u get a 'k' cpu if your not going to overclock. and if u plan to xfire/sli then get a 600-700 watt psu

I get a 'k' CPU because it is 0.1GHz faster than i5 3550 :na:
Maybe i can't get the gtx670, if so i'll have to go for gtx 560ti 448, gtx 570, 7850 or 7870... I never had an AMD video card, i always been an nvidia's fanboy (it also have physX), but now i want to take AMD into account in my build.

My actual build:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3550 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor ($199.99 @ Amazon)
or Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz ($229.99)
-i dont know if .1GHz for $30 is worth :??:

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($134.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($48.99 @ Newegg)
Hard Drive: Samsung 830 Series 64GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($79.99 @ B&H)

Video Card: Asus Radeon HD 7870 2GB Video Card
or GeForce GTX 570 PNY VCGGTX570XPB-CG
or GeForce GTX 570 MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III PE/OC
(all around $305)
-I don't know which one i should get, which one would be easier to SLI/Crossfire in the future or which one would fit better in my TV

Power Supply: OCZ 700W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($44.98 @ NCIX US)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($16.99 @ Newegg)

Is GTX 670 overkill to play in my 21" TV? and the PSU for this build + HD, future SSD and a far far away SLI?

u'll be fine with the i5 3550 and the gtx 670 can run any game out there on ultra 1080 at 70+fps
it is an overkill right now but you wont have to ugrade for a long time
