Looking to upgrade my Gaming/Streaming PC but not sure if what I've picked out will work.

Currently got a;
- GTX 1070 GPU
- H87-HD3 Motherobard
- Ballistix Sport RAM (28GB, don't ask)
- NZXT CA-S340MB Case
- Not honestly sure what the PSU is, might be a Corsair 550m

So What I was considering getting was;
- an i7-8700k
- Gigabyte Mobo
- and Corsair LPX 3200 MHz Ram

Looking help to know if these options would be viable to straight swap in my build or would I need to get a different PSU or something? Also I had considered these changed a while ago so if there is any other parts that would maybe do better than the ones I have selected then please share.
Appreciate the help <3

You almost definitely won't be exceeding what it's capable of, but if you want that extra wiggle-room, it's not a bad idea.

You think just 3000MHz would do?

On Intel, 2400/2666 is good.

Aw okay, thats good then. Any thoughts on the PSU? It's the main part worrying me. Like do you think the overall Watts useed will go up by much?
