Hi, I need help finding a good cooling solution for a 4690k. I plan to OC it to 4.2Ghz-4.5Ghz. I am between the H75, H80i and Noctua NH-U14S. The NH-D14 and D15 are too big imo and will make my case(450D) look bad and also affect the airflow in a bad way so I'm leaning towards liquid cooling solutions. Does anyone have the H75 or H80i or have a friend who has it and know if I can reach the above frequencies or similar to them? I prefer proven stuff offer assumptions. Like someone has it and knows or info from websites and stuff. Thanks guys.

I currently use the H100 but have used the H75 in the past. It's good but just as good as any air cooler on the market. Cooler Master 212 EVO is only 30 dollars and will actually give you the same performance as any of the maintenance free liquid cooling options. You can definitely get the overclock you are looking for with any of the coolers you have picked out.

I could expand my budget a bit for a H100i I think. Is it good? Are the fans loud? How is it compared to the two liquid coolers I mentioned above?

Well the H100 is a dual 120mm radiator. The bigger the radiator the better the cooling potential. The H75 is a single 120mm radiator. In theory it should provide better cooling than the H75. I have an Intel i5 3570k and was able to achieve a 4.7Ghz overclock that was stable with acceptable temps with the H100. The H100 comes with two 120mm static pressure fans. Static pressure fans can be very loud when ran at 100%. Are you dead set on liquid cooling or are you looking for best bang for the buck?

The reason I'm leaning towards liquid cooling is because the performance air coolers like the noctua nh-d14 and 15 or dark rock pro etc etc are so big they affect the airflow of the case in a bad way, they may interfere with my ram although im not sure (Crucial Ballistix Sport 2x8) and they make the inside of the case look bad(there goes the window on my corsair 450D) What do you think? Should I go with water cooling or pick up a Noctua big ass cooler like the nh-d14-15 or U14S which is smaller? From where I can buy, the H100i exceeds 100 euros while the Noctua NH-D14 for example is at 68 euros.

Well if your concerned about overall case airflow and you want everything to look neat and tidy then go with liquid cooling. I would go with the biggest radiator you can fit in your case.
