Need help for my new gaming pc

So I've got a budget of about $1000-$1200 I live in Australia so buying one from online websites like cyberpower make it hard as they don't post to Australia another problem is I don't have enough free time on my hands to build my own computer so that's another con so I was wondering if any one could help me find the right computer that will be able to play AAA titles and games like rust, dayz, Arma (all of them) battlefield 4 and any other survival fps or Rp game to come out I don't know a whole lot about computer as I'm new to the computer gaming as I use to play on a Potato console so I don't have a whole heap of knowledge about graphic cards and all the required CPU and all the other essentials and I'm just afraid that I might spend all this money on a piece of Sh!t or something that just isn't wright for wha I need it for so if you guys could lease help me it would be much obliged

I just need @OP to answer the questions I asked above, he's made two threads like this and it's unclear as to whether he already has the APU rig or not, getting conflicting answers atm. 🙁
Edit: Just realised he doesn't have the APU PC yet according to this thread, get the list I posted above, probably the best value.
I've also been made aware recently the Ryzen 1400 unlike the 1500X is a 2x2 core design much like Bulldozer.
That Geil RAM is insanely cheap for AU atm for one reason or another.
Centrecom is a Victorian based (Victoria is a state) PC retailer more or less, most others like PC Case Gear are mostly online with pickup locations from warehouses.
@OP, an alternative is to look up local PC stores and have them build it for you...

I've found a computer for about 900$ it's about 16 months old and ha s been stress tested for about 72 hours I've already had a cha to the community about the specs of this computer and would like more info or help on it I know it's over priced but is it still a good pc like is it good for a new gamer like me all I want it for is work and playing games like rust, dayz, ark survival bf4 bf1 any cod and any good fps or Rp survival game to come out the spec for this computer are

- CPU: AMD A10 7850K 3.7GHz with 4.0GHz Turbo mode
- CPU cooler: brand new AMD Waith CPU cooler
- GPU: AMD Radeon R9 380 4GB GDDR5 Gaming video card
- RAM: 16GB DDR3 gaming memory

- OS: Microsoft WIndows 10 Home 64 bit edition
I mean although it's 900$ is this still a good gaming pc for say a newbie like me??

I saw your other thread, don't spam the forums with multiple posts pls...
For Australia it's not as bad as it would have been assuming it was in the US.
What's your budget?
Considering yourself a 'newbie' doesn't change the fact the CPU in that rig is extremely weak and will bottleneck the GPU.
You should have run it past the forums before buying.
Save up and get a CPU upgrade to a 1500X and B350 board or G4560 and B250M Pro4 board with 8GB of DDR4 imo.

Yea sorry I won't do it again but I haven't bought the other pc yet so I've still got time luckily I'm looking around and I've found another one mind if I could give you the specs and you give me your opinion

don't purchase the A10 7850k for games like BF1 . it will struggle and give you a not very good experience .
are you planning to play @ 1080p and online ?

Or get an SSD drive if you have a tb drive already.
Don't get the A10. And I just picked a better Ryzen module. You can prolly get cheaper ram and stuff to keep it close to 1k. But this should run pretty well.

My complete bad I just realized he was from Aussie. In that case I would stick with the build that the previous guy posted with the Ryzen. But try and get a better PSU. 550 is kinda pushing it.

I also agree this build is not worth 900 bucks at all. A series are pretty outdated. I mean if you're going old go with the 8350 AMD as I'm still getting great performance with it but it's a very old chip, but you can probably find it very cheap online and if you're a newbie then the 8350 with a good mobo shouldn't cost more than 600 Aussie dollars. I built a PC with an 8350 and just a 750 WF card on it and it ran great with 550 PSU EVGA 80+ semi-modular, 99$ Mobo, DDR3 1866 8gb of ram was enough, together the build probably cost around 500 bucks total so maybe 900 aussie dollars. A lot of it you can get used or cheap from PC stores too.

Easiest thing for him to do is just learn how to build a PC, it's easy and it would save him a lot of money IMO. There's tons of videos online and it's pretty self explanatory. Unless you completely mess up installing the CPU you can't really mess up too badly. You can even be lazy and take out a laptop hdd and put it in the new computer. xD

OutBackGamer - Chugalug is our resident Aussie so you'd be best taking his advice regarding building.
I have no idea what or who centrecom are so can't comment.

The 2 places I've look at at that do customised builds (evatech & mwave) are way way over your budget for anything decent mate -$1700 at a touch & component choice is sketchy.

If you really are unwilling ton build your own youd prob be better serves buying a cheap kabylake basic office desktop & dropping a 1050ti in there.

It's not something I'd do personally but the option is there.

Kinda impressed that it has a 7700K I7.
But yes would need a PSU change and a GPU. With an I7 you can run around with the cheap 1050 TI pretty easily and get a 550 PSU for probably cheap-ish for aussie. And those are super easy to put in.

Just thrown a ryzen 1600 + RX 580 + 16gb ram bud together on centre com , it comes to $1201 built

No optical , single WD 1tb hard drive , no OS (You can still use windows 10 free though in that respect)

Can't list it or screen grab as I'm on mobile but is doable .

Changing to an 8gb 390 they have on offer, & 8gb ram instead of 16gb you'd also get a ssd in there OR windows 10.

Doing the above & swapping to a ryzen 1400 (they don't list the 1500x) would squeeze you windows in as well.

So it is absolutely possible to 'just' do it.

For VIC, PC Case Gear, Centrecom, MSY, PLE, PCDIY, CPL, Scorptec or Landmark Computers if you're desperate or they're nearby.
For NSW, go to ARC Computers, Skycomp, MSY, PCDIY or Umart, they have various locations.
For QLD, Skycomp and Umart.
For SA, MSY and PCDIY again.
For ACT, MSY.
And for WA MSY or PLE.

this is from centrecom including building ,I believe delivery is around the $20 mark - I put a melbourne McDonalds postcode in just for an estimate ;-)
It doesnt include windows,apart from that Its fairly high tier.
The gx550 woudnt have been first psu choice but it is a fairly solid unit with a 5 year warranty.
The 390 is there simply because its the same price as a 4gb 570 & outperforms it.

$10 over max budget with delivery & youll have to install windows 10 yourself non registered but ultimately I think its worth the compromise (squeezed an optical in there too)

IN retrospect Id switch out the 390 for a 4gb 570 at the same price,the 390 just runs too hot & uses too much power for that comparitive 9-10% performance increase
