need help from everyone...

hi guys... my first post. so, please be nice with me. ok, i think i got a problem with my graphic card. My card is GeForce 4 MX 460. the problem is whenever i try to play a game on my pc, the game will minimize and exit back to the desktop. i have installed the new nvidia forceware driver. doesn't any of u guys ever have the same problem as me... please help me guys... as new games are coming out... CALL OF DUTY!!!

That's weird. Not sure why it's doing that... I suppose you might have adware or something installed that's running in the background and taking focus from the game... but then you'd probably be seeing an ad popup when it goes to the desktop.

As a first step I'd download and run Spybot and Adaware, freeware programs that remove spyware and ad software that run in the background and use system resources.

Also do a virus check, just 'cause...

Usually, there is an ini file for your game. For instance...the exact same thing happened to me all the time for unreal tournament...then I found that I needed to tell it to go fullscreen and resolution in the ini file so that it wouldn't exit down....

Another point as well is that Windows has a default setting of concentrating on programs in the background. I changed mine over to running applications instead of background programs and PEWF! No more minimization.
