[NEED HELP] Games Running Super SLOW

I don't know why I can't play any games like grand theft auto v, doom, and rust.

My pc: i7-7700k, Gtx 1060 3gb, 16gb ddr4.

Note: I cant even open nvidia control panel.
I think the problem is that it only found my intel graphics card and is using that instead of my gpu. I don't have an hdmi cord plugged into my gpu because i have a shitty monitor that only uses vga.

Go into your BIOS and look for where you can disable the integrated graphics.

Um, I don't mean to sound like a jerk but you bought an i7 7700k AND a 1060 AND 16gb DDR4 ram but no DVI to VGA active adapter for your monitor? Come on. Connecting your videocard to your monitor has to be a top priority.

If you connect the monitor to the motherboard, yeah it's going to use the Intel graphics, why wouldn't it?

If you do not have your video cable plugged into your gpu, but instead have it plugged into the mobo then there is your problem. Unless you plug you monitor into the gpu then it is just a paper weight. You will have to have the gpu connected to the monitor. It won't work when you don't plug it into your gpu.
