Question Need Help. Getting “Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media” when booting pc

Hello I’ve been trying to figure this out now for about 2 hours and could not find how to get past it. Recently had my motherboard mess up on me so I bought a new one, today I finally swapped out my motherboard and the components and put them into the new motherboard. Now on boot up I keep seeing “ Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media” I’m assuming it’s because I just took the m.2 out from old mobi and put it into the new mobo but not entirely sure. Any help is appreciated

1. What drives were in the old system?
Sounds like there were at least 2.

If there were 2 dries connected when you installed, it is very likely the boot partition ended up on the 'other drive'.

2. What is the old motherboard and the new?
Likely you will need to do a full OS reinstall anyway.

Wow thank you for your reply. I only installed one ssd just to make sure it would work fine not realizing I would need both of them for it to work. My pc finally booted up now, I appreciate your quick reply and solving my issue

You need to fix that, if either drive goes bad, you lose everything.
