Hello, is there a way to get your wifi/ internet service back after a virus has deleted it? Or blocked it? Other than formatting? I don't want to lose my Softwares. A few PUP viruses went through my free Kaspersky Antivirus, and through my Free Comodo Firewall, and corrupted both of them. I've tried the DSIM command and CHKDSK /F and nothing worked. I get Error:14098 I went to YouTub,e and on internet, for a few fix recommendations and NOTHING worked. There are no networks available anymore to connect to, and everything is blank. If I go to device manager, my Wifi adapter is still there. I think my last option is resetting my PC on Windows 10 but I really don't want to do that. Is there an easier way?

"Windows 10 TCP/IP Reset
WiFi adapter sees available network, however will not accept tcp/ip address. Attempting to reset winsock and ip stack may resolve the problem. Note, this information is one of many possible solutions that should only be attempted if you have a good working knowledge of the Windows OS network settings and services.

1. In the search box on the taskbar, type Command prompt, press and hold (or right-click) Command prompt, and then select Run as administrator > Yes.

2. At the command prompt, run the following commands in the listed order, and then check to see if that fixes your connection problem:

Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.

if that doesn't work, then do as instructed above, windows Reset, or a Feature Update.
