Solution
You are going to want a Z390 board, to avoid any potential bios incompatibilities. The 9900k needs a fairly expensive board to get the most out of, with regards to overclocking. That board I don't think has enough power delivery for that task. That's why I rarely, if ever, recommend a 9900k. The performance is great, but the price/performance of a Ryzen 2700/2700x is simply far better.
