Question NEED HELP!!how to check Processor pcie 5.0 link speed

I have gigabyte z790 gaming x ax motherboard that support cpu pcie 5.0.according to my analysis i have i7 14700f that support pcie 5.0 as intel says.after that i set gen 5 in my bios at cpu pcie link speed.how to check if my processor is running on gen 5 or not?

The only way for sure is to plug something into the PCIe 5.0 interface and either run a diagnostic tool that'll read it or do some test that sends data through it.

However, given there are no PCIe 5.0 video cards at the moment and I don't think you want to buy an M.2 to PCIe card converter along with a PCIe NVMe drive, I don't think anything will really satisfy you.

My gpu is rtx 4070 super which only sit at pcie 4.but in my bios it have a option name cpu pcie links speed from gen 1 to gen 5,what does it mean?is it my processor not my graphic card can run pcie 5?

There are no video cards that are PCIe 5.0. PCIe speed will only use the slowest between either the slot or the card.

A program like GPU-Z can show what PCIe version GPU is running and which is available
Bus interface > PCIe x16 5.0@PCIe x16@4.0
Which means that PCIe 5.0 is enabled but GPU runs at 4.0
