[SOLVED] Need help if gaming laptops

Hello I was just wanting to know if anybody could help me with this. What gaming laptop could last me about 3 years? Performance-wise I'm okay with dropping graphical down just a little bit to meet the performance as years go on. My budget is between 1000 and 1500 my ceiling is 1700. I'm not a super hardcore gamer but I would like to have a gaming laptop that can last me about 3 years.

this is a pretty good laptop, I have a older ge62mvr still works fantastic , it’s 3 years old still going strong

They ALL have thermal issues. It isn't just limited to Alienware/Dell.
Just avoid the thin gaming models, get a cooling pad, and you should be able to avoid future throttling issues.

Not true my msi cpu maxes out at 78 -80c

By 'ALL', I meant none of the laptop manufacturers have managed to avoid making subpar coolers. The cooler is one of the first areas they will cut corners to reduce costs.
