So I was looking into upgrading my CPU and defaulted to pcpartpicker to see what's available and to check compatibility, but to my dismay, my current motherboard doesn't seem to be on the website. I've come to you guys to help me figure out what might work since I honestly don't really know.

What's in my PC currently
Motherboard : GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 6.0)
CPU : AMD FX-8320 8-Core 3.5 GHz
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070
RAM: 8 GB

I was looking into getting this with the intention of using my PC for streaming high motion games like For Honor or Overwatch. Thank you in advance! I'm still a bit inexperienced when it comes to computer parts.

Your motherboard isn't compatible with your processor due to your motherboard's power limits. Also, the FX-9590 is a bad processor. It has a 220W TDP for not so much power.

I'd recommend you to get an i7-7700K. It's an amazing processor for both gaming and streaming.

That board is not really suited for running a 125w processor, let alone a 220w model.
You are at the end of your path with AM3+ processors. The 9590 is a joke anyway.

Youll either have to make the switch to intel, or go for Ryzen. Both require new motheboards and probably RAM.

What kind of motherboard would you recommend if I wanted to switch to an i7 or something?
