Hello , i have some free time over summer and i wanted to play some games casually , my old 1060 is dead so i thought to get used gpu.
My options are 1080 for 300 e , 2060 ( used in mining rig ) for 250 e , 2070 super for 390 e , 2080 for 450 e ( i would not go above 450 e) there are also some amd 5600 and 5700 series but i don't know if they are better than nvidias gpus.
I have 24 inch monitor and old i5-7500 and 16 gb of ram.
Thanks for your tips in advance.

With the huge amount of used crypto cards being dumped back into the market and availability of new at near msrp I would buy new if at all possible. Old miner cards are notoriously used up and can be sketchy to say the least. You can get a 3080 for sub 800usd and a 3070 new in the ~580usd range with a 3060 in the ~400usd right now. With your cpu anything beyond the 3060-70 range is way overkill but regardless from what I can tell euro exchange rate to usd is about a 1:1 right now so price wise those used cards are not a bargain. If you were using a 1060 before just watch your power budget on the PSU.

For anyone to help, and before even looking at used parts prices some questions:

Whats your PSU brand and model?

What resolution and refresh rate is your monitor?

Your CPU will limit all of those cards. A 7600k is limiting even my 1070. If you really want to get a new card, don't buy used. As others said, they are a total gamble and potential monetary loss.

But if you absolutely want a new card and 450€ is your limit, you can this, for example:
https://www.mindfactory.de/product_...RTX-3060-Ghost-OC-GDDR6--Retail-_1399387.html

Depending on where you are, of course. That store only sells to Germany iirc, but there are others and right now it's Prime Day, so about the best time to get one.

I can buy new psu since this one is 6-7 years old , my monitor is 1080 p 144hz.

Well not knowing brand and model of the PSU, but with 6~7 years of use, then yes probably a new PSU is a good idea. Brands like Corsair (RM....X series), Seasonic and EVGA have very good models.

As KyaraM wrote at 1080p, and even at 1440p, that old 7500 of yours will limit the posible performance of any of those GPU.

That link goes to Amazon US and shows US prices, not EU. Which is a worse price than even mine. And I made just a suggestion on the upper limit, not a specific recommendation. How good tyour price is depends completely on where you live, which we don't even know. Last, I only made a model suggestion. Not a recommendation.

Edit: Also, you literally can't get that card below 420€ on Amazon where I live.
